Nico de BeerNico de Beer (1958) was born in Tilburg, in the south of The Netherlands. He spent his youth on his father’s farm, which was to become the inspirational backbone of his autobiographical novel ‘Zwaluwen’ (English: Swallows). He studied English to become an English teacher and has been teaching at various schools for over 20 years. He started writing in the early nineties. After a series of short stories, he finally published his first novel in 1998. Publications: Zwaluwen (1998), Overtocht naar Zweden (English: A passage to Sweden) 2003, De laatste schakel (English: The final link) 2007. All books have been published by the publishing-house of Servo. |
